Space Expo Air Show at Kennedy Space Center
November 2007

The “World Space Expo” was held at Kennedy Space Center, from the 1st to the 4th of November 2007, to celebrate “50 years of space and the 60th anniversary of the Air Force”. On the 3rd and 4th, visitors to Kennedy Space Center were treated to an “aerial salute”. We were lucky enough to be there on the 4th to catch the action.

A wonderful setting for an air show, with the VAB in the background

F-18 Super Hornet

Our first chance to see the F-22 Raptor

The old and the new

By a strange coincidence this was the third display by the Thunderbirds that we saw in 2007 . . . but the first one with clear blue skies!

“It's behind you!”

Definitely a memorable air show
